Welcome to IMK Solicitors (est. 2011). We are an established law firm dealing solely with immigration, asylum and human rights matters.

We offer a friendly and professional service in all aspects of immigration law. Our Solicitor will always pay close attention to your objectives and provide you with the highest standards of care and legal expertise. Through careful attention to detail and our expert knowledge of immigration regulations, you can be sure that we will advise you clearly on where you stand and what you need to do to meet your objectives.

The firm is led by Principal Solicitor, Harleena J Basi. Harleena has more than 20 years' experience in Immigration and Asylum Law and holds a Masters in International Human Rights Law and is a member of the Immigration Law Practitioners Association. Harleena is also accredited as a Supervisor and Senior Caseworker under the Law Society’s Immigration & Asylum Scheme.

Harleena is supported by a dedicated team of lawyers who themselves have a breadth of experience from different organisations including the Home Office, law centres and other private law firms. Our lawyers specialise in different areas of law, whether that be business immigration or family reunion. As such, we are experienced in dealing with the complexities of Immigration Law.

Your Solicitor will be your case manager and personal contact throughout your case. They will be available to discuss your case and will give you prompt and professional advice at each key stage of the application process.

We also hold a contract with the Ministry of Justice, having provided Civil Legal Aid in the local community since 2013. We maintain the Specialist Quality Mark and our legal aid lawyers are accredited under the Law Society's Immigration & Accreditation Scheme and are subject to enhanced DBS checks where they work with young and vulnerable applicants.
