The firm is led by Harleena J Basi, who has more than 20 years' experience in Immigration and Asylum Law, acquired in law firms, law centres and law departments in London & the Sourth East. Harleena deals with the firm's complex appeals, judicial review, and business immigration cases inlcuding sponsorship licence and skilled worker applications.
Harleena holds accreditation as a senior caseworker and supervisor under the Law Society's Immigration and Asylum Department.
Aydin is an immigration lawyer with IMK. Aydin expresses a keen interest in publicly funded immigration work relating to asylum & human rights.
Aydin also holds an accreditation as a Senior Caseworker under the Law Society's Immigration and Asylum Department which allows him to work on publicly funded matters and he has a keen interest in asylum work and long residence applications.
Farhath Khan has more than 15 years experience in both the private and non-profit asylum sectors. As a result, Farhath has gained a considerable amount of experience across the spectrum in immigration law and practice.
Farhath holds accreditation as a Senior Caseworker under the Law Society's Immigration and Asylum Scheme which allows her to work with victims of trafficking and domestic violence.
Farhath is also fluent in Urdu & Punjabi
Jana is a first class law graduate from Birmingham City University. Jana is currently studying the LPC part-time alongside her work as a Paralegal at the firm.
Jana has experience and gained experience in Criminal law and exceptional case funding applications previously. She has a keen interest in human rights law, naturalisation and deportation matters.
Jo Barr holds 10 years post-qualification experience in Immigration Law in the private and public sectors having previously represented at the Immigration & Asylum Tribunal in immigration and asylum appeals.
During the past 5 years, Jo has worked within the private sector and has been primarily been dealing with personal immigration matters gaining vast experience in all areas of personal immigration such as spouse and parent applications including matters at appeal stage.
